Lemon Garlic Roasted Chicken:
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken (about 4-5 pounds)
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan, and rub the lemon-garlic mixture all over the chicken.
- Roast the chicken for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
